So, the new Bluetooth headset I got to go with my new computer will only connect to my computer when the USB transmitter thingy is plugged in even though it's supposed to connect to any Bluetooth enabled device. Well, unless of course, I happen to be at the store where I got it and the Geek squad guy is doing it. Then it connects perfectly. So, I go back home, no connection to either my phone or computer despite the fact that they were all 3 just connected at Best Buy. GRRRRR! For $80 headphones, this pisses me off.
Ok, I'm done ranting now.
So, got back to the guy at the store and ask him what he does, or call him on the phone?
All Bluetooth is not eequal, and even when they are suppose to connect perfectly, well. Smile.
My iPhone is a easy fix, but I've learned, I can't connect it to my laptop using Bluetooth so I can use it as a modem, I have to use a cable.
If he can make it work, you are missing something.
This is hard to do like this, or for me, I should say. So that is what I'd do. Ask the pro. Smile.
Actually, I have to pull out the dumb ass card and play it on myself this time. lol
There's a switch that goes from off to USB, to Bluetooth. Apparently, I had the USB and Bluetooth positions mixed up because when I sat down I thought I'd plug in the USB chord but noticed that the headset is working now with no transmitter plugged into the computer. All that to say, hooray! Now to try it with my phone. I'll bet it works.
*smacks self on head*
I'm really glad because these headphones sounds great. They're Logitech H800 just in case anyone wants a pair of great headphones. I haven't tested out the mic yet.
